More Than 1,200 People Lose Power In Mar Vista

More than 1,200 people lost power on the Westside Monday afternoon, the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power reported.

MAR VISTA, CA — More than 1,200 people lost power in the Mar Vista area Monday afternoon, the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power reported.

Power was out for an estimated 1,279 LADWP customers about 1:45 p.m., the utility said.

It was expected to resume by 5 p.m., the utility said. It's unclear what caused the outage.
