Over a Hundred Venice Residents Compete in Marathon

Several Venetians finished the race in under four hours.

Over 100 Venice residents participated in the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, and 20 of them finished in under four hours.

Hongyun Jin Jin, 59, had the best time out of all Venice participants, finishing in 3:11:20. Johnny Huerta, 23 was just behind her, with a race time of 3:15:37.

Aleksandra Duliba, a 27-year-old woman from Belarus won the women’s race with a time of 2:26:08. Duliba earned $75,000 for the victory – $25,000 as the top women's finisher and a $50,000 bonus for beating the fastest man.

Erick Mose of Kenya was the fastest runner with a time of 2:09:44.
