VENICE, CA — Omar Gutierrez of the Operational Services Division of the County of Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors captured the moment the sand berms were smoothed out along Venice Beach. Every November, the county builds giant sand berms on our beaches, and every spring, they take them down.
