Suspect With Loaded Gun Stopped Near Venice Boardwalk
Los Angeles police report finding a suspect with a loaded pistol in Venice during a traffic stop near the boardwalk.

VENICE, CA — Officers found a suspect with a loaded pistol in Venice during a traffic stop near the boardwalk, Los Angeles Police Department officials announced Wednesday.
Officers Tuesday stopped a driver suspected of a traffic violation near Pacific and 17th avenues when they discovered a loaded weapon in the passenger's wasitband, police said.
No further suspect or incident information was released.

"We remain committed in our efforts to thwarting gun violence," police said in a statement.
On 03/30/21 Pacific Officers on routine patrol, conducted a stop for a traffic violation in the area of Pacific Ave/17th Ave.
They discovered a loaded 9mm pistol concealed in the waistband of the passenger.
