Thousands Test Their Limits At LA Triathlon
More than 2,000 people swamp, ran and peddled their way through Los Angeles Sunday for the Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Robbie Webster of Tacoma, Washington was the men's winner of Sunday's Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles by 29 seconds while Sarah Haskins of St. Louis was the women's winner by 19 seconds.
Webster completed the course in one hour, 50 minutes, 15 seconds. Robbie Decker of Boulder, Colorado was second in 1:50:44 and Ben Collins of Santa Monica third in 1:50:50.
Haskins was the women's winner in 2:01:07. Heather Jackson from Bend, Oregon was second in 2:01:26 and Alicia Kaye of Clermont, Florida third in 2:02:05.

The race consisted of a 1,500-meter swim off Venice Beach, cycling 40 kilometers from Venice to downtown Los Angeles and a 10-kilometer run through downtown Los Angeles.
A sprint distance race consisting of a 750-meter swim, a 22-kilometer cycling portion and 5-kilometer run was also offered as was a "aquabike" race with a 1,500-meter swim and 40 kilometers of cycling.

More than 2,000 people participated in the races, according to organizers.
