Venice Chamber Of Commerce: City Of Los Angeles Minimum Wage Increase

Did you know the City of LA’s minimum wage will be $15 starting July 1, 2021 for both small and large businesses? Under the City’s Minimum Wage Ordinance, Employees working in the City are also entitled to 48 hours of paid sick leave every 12-month period: front-loaded (provided all at once) or accrued at the rate of 1 hour per every 30 hours worked.
