VENICE, CA — Venice Community Housing invites residents to get involved in advocacy efforts for people experiencing homelessness and plans to host a virtual meeting Tuesday night.

The first advocacy meeting starts at 6 p.m. and the group plans to discuss how Gen Z and Millennials can join the efforts to find housing solutions for people in the Venice area.

"Our goals are to organize young people who care about finding compassionate housing solutions and want to take action steps but may not be sure where to start," Mia Lopez-Zubiri told Patch. "We'd also like to build a community of individuals who are passionate about learning more about local social justice and advocacy efforts."
