135 New Apartments: Construction Set To Begin In Walnut Creek
The apartments will include ground-floor retail space and will be located near the BART station.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Construction is set to begin on a major housing and retail development in Walnut Creek.
The new apartment community, named Anton NoMa, is close to desired jobs, award-winning restaurants, a wide mix of shopping – and two blocks from a BART station.
Anton NoMa will be located at 1910 North Main Street and becomes the latest project in the city’s North Main/Ygnacio Valley Road Specific Plan. It will feature 135 apartments and 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, following the city’s plan for more neighborhood mixed-use projects. It will also include two levels of on-site subterranean parking.

The community will offer studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, of which 11 units are reserved for low-income residents. Rental rates will be available closer to the scheduled opening in fall 2021.
“It’s an excellent location and project for our company, the community – and future residents,” said Steve Eggert, Founder of Anton DevCo. “We’re committed to making Anton NoMa a model of what can be done with urban infill development and showcase the mixed-use vision for the neighborhood.”
