California's COVID-19 Rent Relief Program is designed to assist both tenants and landlords by providing financial assistance to income qualified renters, and also provides rent reimbursement for landlords for unpaid rent. Senate Bill 91, which established the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program, allocates $2.6 billion for federal rent assistance.

All renters and landlords can determine if they are eligible for the program and apply for funds directly at HousingIsKey.com beginning Monday, March 15. If you or someone you know does not have access to the internet, call the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Call Center at 1-833-430-2122 between 7 am - 7 pm daily for more information and access an application.
