California WOW Houses: A Samurai-style estate that's a California-registered historical landmark is available for the first time in 50 years

CALIFORNIA — An amazing estate in Los Gatos was designed to mimic a 13th-century Samurai estate. Its features include a Teahouse and Shinto temple, a Torii gate and other authentic Japanese structures and garden designs. The buildings were constructed using 13th-century methods, with materials and plantings sourced from the Kyoto region of Japan. This home is for sale for the first time in a half-century.

Currently owned by the estate of the late Tom Petty, previous owners include Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole.
