CASTROVILLE, CA — One person was killed Sunday in a solo vehicle rollover on a rural road about two miles southeast of Castroville in Monterey County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported about 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Espinosa Road. The car was headed west near a curve in the roadway when it rolled over into a field, landing on its roof, the CHP said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene; no other injuries were reported. No further information was immediately available.
