2.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Monterey County
The quake was about 13 miles northeast of Soledad. (Breaking)

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA – An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.7 struck 13.7 miles northeast of Soledad Saturday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake hit at 11:57 p.m. and was almost 2.5 miles deep.
