3 Watsonville Businesses Caught Selling Alcohol To Minors: Cops
Police said employees from El Michoacano Restaurant, Straw Hat Pizza and Golden China Restaurant were caught selling alcohol to minors.

WATSONVILLE, CA -- Three Watsonville businesses were caught selling alcohol to minors, police announced Tuesday. Police said one employee from El Michoacano Restaurant, Straw Hat Pizza and Golden China Restaurant were arrested for selling alcohol to a minor.
Each of the three employees was issued a citation and released at the scene.
The arrests were a part of a yearlong operation grant that the Watsonville Police Department was awarded by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control where officers are tasked with conducting “Minor Decoy” operations through the city of Watsonville at licensed establishments.

These operations involve police officers sending underage volunteers into licensed establishments to attempt to purchase alcohol.
The following businesses were also tested during the operation but employees refused to sell alcohol to minors:

- Quik Stop (Freedom Blvd location)
- Dales Liquor
- AM/PM Gas Station
- 7-11(Airport Blvd location)
- Cork & Bottle
- CVS Pharmacy (Watsonville Square Shopping Center)
- Nob Hill Foods
