$34,500 In Drugs Found In Car Of Alleged Drug Dealer, SCCSO Says
Watsonville resident Modesto Munoz, 37, is being held on $100,000 bail.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A suspected drug dealer was arrested Thursday afternoon at a Watsonville home because he allegedly had nine pounds of methamphetamine and a pound of heroin in his car, sheriff's officials said. Modesto Munoz, 37, was arrested after deputies served a search warrant for drugs at a home in the 100 block of Ninth Street.
While searching the home, detectives with a drug-sniffing dog allegedly found drugs in Munoz's car.
Sheriff's officials said they estimated that the methamphetamine had a street value of $22,500 while the heroin had an estimated value of $12,000.
Munoz was taken to the county jail on suspicion of selling methamphetamine and heroin. Munoz was being held on $100,000 bail.
