Two men found shot dead near a parked car in Aromas Sunday night were from Sacramento, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office reported Wednesday.
The victims were Navneal Singh, 22, and Demetrius Isaiah Safford, 23, both from the Sacramento area.Â
Their bodies were spotted on Dunbarton Road in Royal Oaks, southeast of Watsonville, by a passing motorist Sunday night. The bodies were behind a car that was parked on the shoulder of the road.
No arrests have been made and sheriff's deputies have not said what may have motivated the slayings.
