Officials with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today ended the Regional Stay at Home Order, lifting the order for all regions statewide, including the three regions that had still been under the order – San Joaquin Valley, Bay Area and Southern California. WHAT IS OPEN IN PURPLE TIER?

  • Critical infrastructure
  • Outdoor playgrounds
  • Outdoor recreational facilities
  • Hair salons
  • Barbershops and nail salons are open in all tiers with modifications
  • Outdoor gatherings only with modifications (Max 3 households)
  • All Retail (25% capacity)
  • Malls (25% capacity, closed common areas & food courts)
  • Hotels (open - fitness center closed) • Offices (remote)
  • Personal Care Services, Museums, Churches, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, Gyms and Wineries (outdoor only)
  • Bars, Breweries & Distilleries, Amusement Parks (closed)
