Complete Streets - Safe Routes to Schools Plan

We hope you can attend one of the kick-off meetings

The Public Works Department is leading a process to create a Safe Routes to Schools Plan for 15 schools in Watsonville, and we would love to get your input. The plan will identify barriers to students walking and biking to school safely, and includes a list of projects that will improve access to schools.

Watsonville

We are also looking for parents, neighbors and community members to act as stakeholders for each school. Following the public meetings, we will be holding walking audits around each school to observe traffic patterns and identify areas that need improvement.
