Dense Fog Advisory In Effect For Coastal Bay Area

Visibilities of a quarter-mile or less have been reported in some airports.

BAY AREA, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Friday morning in coastal areas from the North Bay to Big Sur.

Visibilities of a quarter-mile and less have been reported in airports in Watsonville, Half Moon Bay, Monterey and Salinas, NWS said. Dense fog formed near the ocean late last night.

Smoke and haze have also reduced visibility, NWS said.
