Cabrillo College's "Dig-It" Archaeology Club presents the free special event, Central Coast Archaeology Night. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about local prehistory, archaeology, and Native Californian lifeways. A distinguished panel of experts will discuss the archaeology in our backyard.
The lectures will focus on a wide range of topics including the oldest archaeological sites in California, the archaeology of Monterey and Santa Cruz, Native American religious practices, and the relationship between archaeologists and Indian peoples.
