Watsonville police again resume growing beards to help Jacob's Heart fundraising efforts. Will you help police find their way to razors?
WATSONVILLE - It's time for the ugly beards again. Well, for the most part.
But it's for a great cause.
Watsonville police want residents to know they've been granted a "temporary reprieve from department grooming standards" in exchange for your $100 donation to Jacob's Heart, the extraordinary local effort that provides support for children with cancer.

In 2015, police report $3,100 was donated to Jacob's Heart via your help. Watsonville police want to top that figure this year.
