Live Earth Farm Hosting Annual Harvest Festival: Watsonville

Farm Discovery's annual Harvest Fest at Live Earth Farm takes place Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Get to know local food and celebrate the fall season during Live Earth Farm's 2019 Harvest Festival in Watsonville, Saturday Oct. 19.

The event, hosted in partnership with nonprofit Farm Discovery, runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Live Earth, a 150 acre patchwork of working organic farm, riparian corridor, oak and redwood forest.

Tractor rides, face painting, live music, apple cider making, and local treats by PennyIce Creamery, Hidden Fortress Coffee, Good Dogs Food Truck and Companion Bakeshop will be on tap during the family friendly event located at 1275 Green Valley Road.

The food education nonprofit Farm Discovery uses Live Earth as a classroom for teaching sustainable agriculture, food practices and environmental health in the Pajaro Valley community. The goal is to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems.
