Local Bakery needs your help!

Last Saturday night I began to receive texts from friends and family, letting me know there was a post made online that stated that Rebeca’s Bakery shared a baker with another local bakery that had a case of Covid19 and therefore, had been shut down. The statement is false! We do not share a baker with them and we have not been closed down. This false post has greatly affected our sales, they have gone down by fifty percent! Unfortunately, if the sales don’t pick up we will have to close our doors and the most affected will be our employees. Please be careful what you post!
We have been following all the requirements and suggestions by the Santa Cruz County Health department. We only allow one customer in at a time, employees wear face masks and gloves, we are constantly sanitizing, and we have rearranged our store so customers can no longer self-Serv.

There is an article on Pajaronian.com pertaining to this situation and channel 67 Univision (in Spanish) will be doing a story on it today at 6pm.
