Man Arrested For Allegedly Preying On Watsonville Teen
Police said Marcos Avalos, 24, preyed on the 16-year-old girl several times while she was walking to school.
WATSONVILLE, CA -- A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly preying on a Watsonville teen on several occasions. Police said Marcos Avalos, 24, preyed on the 16-year-old girl several times while she was walking to school.
The girl reported the incident to school officials in October, police said.
The victim told authorities Avalos forced her to shake his hand and complimented her looks during each interaction, police said.

Avalos was arrested outside of his home and was taken to Santa Cruz County Jail. He faces charges of annoying/molesting a child, police said.
