Methyl Bromide Levels Low at Ohlone Elementary

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) and Air Resources Board are conducting air monitoring for methyl bromide at Ohlone Elementary School, as well as five other sites in the state. They began monitoring at Ohlone in January 2012, and the results for 2012 are now posted at http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/emon/airinit/methyl_bromide_2012.pdf

All methyl bromide concentrations were well below DPR’s goals, indicating a low health risk at all monitoring sites, including Ohlone.
