Police Blotter: Man Threatens Mother of His Children

Also, two men reportedly stole items from Home Depot, then tried to return the items for store credit.

Thursday, Aug. 22
Weapons Possession: A man on probation was arrested for having an illegal weapon during a compliance search at his home on the 700 block Freedom Boulevard.

DUI: A 29-year-old man was arrested for DUI on Main Street and Clifford Avenue around 1:20 a.m.

Bike Theft: A 39-year-old man reported his bike was stolen by two people from the 100 block of Lincoln Street in the morning.

Bike Theft: A bike was stolen overnight from the yard of his Davis Avenue home.

Threats: A man didn't return his children to their mother after a visit and threatened to use a gun against her. It happened just before midnight on the 100 block Pennsylvania Avenue. 

Wednesday, Aug. 21
ID Theft: A woman reported someone used her identity to get work in the state of Washington.

Burglary Tools: A theft suspect was detained on the 900 block of Main Street around 7 p.m. He had burglary tools and was ticketed.

Drug Possession: A motorist pulled over for a vehicle code violation on the 300 block of East Lake Avenue was caught with a smoking pipe and 2 grams of methamphetamine. He was arrested.

Shoplifting: Two men, both age 20, were arrested for burglary after they reportedly took items off the shelves at Home Depot, then returned the items with a a stolen ID card and received store credit. They took the items last week and were arrested around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.
