Public Intoxication: A 66-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.Â
ID Theft: Three online purchases were made using a dead woman's account.Â
Grand Theft: A 19-year-old panhandler was arrested for theft after he reportedly yanked the wallet out of a person's hands in front of El Pueblo Foods on Union Street.
Shoplifting: A 17-year-old boy was cited for stealing a jacket from Kmart.
Shoplifting: A 55-year-old man was arrested for stealing from a store on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.Â
Shoplifting: Two women were arrested for shoplifting at Kmart.
Tuesday, Oct. 1
Burglary: The cash drawer was stolen from a business on the 600 block of East Lake Avenue. The burglar got in through a roof vent.
Vandalism: The windshield of a black BMW was damaged on the 500 block of South Green Valley Road early in the morning.
Assault: A 58-year-old man beat a 49-year-old man with his wooden cane during an argument over money owed.Â
Battery: A woman reported a man grabbed her shoulder aggressively on East Lake Avenue and Main Street. The man was arrested.
Monday, Sept. 30
Weapons: A teenager was arrested for having a knife at Watsonville High School. He was released to his parents.
Theft: A wallet was stolen through an open car window. The vehicle was parked on the 1400 block of Main Street.
Theft: A stereo and ID were stolen from an unlocked car on the 100 block of Jasper Way.Â
