Police Respond To 2 Watsonville Shootings Early Tuesday
Anyone with information about either shooting is encouraged to contact Watsonville police.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Police responded to the scene of two separate shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in Watsonville. Just before 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Martinelli Street following multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area.
Officers arrived at the scene and found an unoccupied vehicle that had its windows shot out. Directly behind the vehicle was an occupied home that was also struck by gunfire, police said. Officers also found shell casings at the scene.
According to police, witnesses reported hearing the shots followed by the sound of a vehicle speeding away. None of the witnesses saw the vehicle. No one was injured in the shooting and no suspect information was
immediately available.

At 1:11 a.m., officers were then dispatched to the 200 block of Green Meadow Drive following multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area. According to police, officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings. No one was injured and no homes were reported to have been struck by the gunfire, police said.
Information about the suspect and further details about the shooting were not immediately available.
