A 22-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed during a fight early Saturday in Watsonville, police said.
The stabbing victim was reported shortly after 4 a.m. on Eastern Drive. He had several stab wounds to his upper torso, police said.
Earlier, police had been called to a fight on Hillside Drive and Carey Avenue. It was reported around 3:40 a.m. There was no one there when the cops arrived, but witnesses said they saw the fight and saw a dark-colored sedan leaving the neighborhood.
Police apparently linked the two incidents. No arrests had been made late Saturday and the victim's condition.
