Traffic Advisory: Watsonville Sewer Replacement In Roache Road

WATSONVILLE, CA — A sewer replacement project along Roache Road will be impacting traffic this week. Potholing for the project gets underway Thursday and trenching is slated to begin early next month.

The sewer replacement project consists of removing and replacing 1,900 lineal feet of sewer in Roache Road. The sewer will be replaced with 8-inch PVC pipe. The project includes the replacement of three manholes that serve this line, the installation of two new manholes to correct the spacing between existing manholes, the adjustment of the pipe slope for better flow, and also the re-connection of the sewer laterals serving each property on the line.

Local traffic control will be in place.
