Watsonville Probation Search Leads To Arrest For Guns, Drugs
Police said the methamphetamine found during the search was in an area that was accessible to children.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A probation search on Thursday led to the arrest of a Watsonville man on several crimes. Jesse Rubalcava, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and child endangerment, according to the Watsonville Police Department.
On Thursday, officers conducted a probation search of Rubalcava's residence and located two handguns, about a pound of suspected methamphetamine, gang indicia and evidence of drug sales, police said.
Police said the methamphetamine was in an area that was accessible to children.
