Watsonville Selects Strawberry Festival Poster Contest Winner

From the City of Watsonville: City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department is pleased to announce the winner of the 2017 Watsonville Strawberry Festival poster contest. Local artist Priscilla Martinez has been selected as the contest winner for her art submission entitled, Strawberry Fiestas. winning entry will serve as the official poster for the 2017 Watsonville Strawberry Festival. In addition, the artwork will be included on Festival souvenirs.

Priscilla Martinez is a Watsonville native who graduated from Watsonville High School and at the tender age of 10 created her first art piece.

We would like to thank all the artists for their participation in the contest. Be sure to join us this summer as we celebrate the 23rd Annual Watsonville Strawberry Festival on August 5 & 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in beautiful and historic downtown Watsonville.
