Watsonville Strawberry Festival 2021: Dates Set
After taking a break for a year, the iconic festival is back. Get the details.
WATSONVILLE, CA — Watsonville's 26th Annual Strawberry Festival is back on for 2021.
The free festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8.
The event will look somewhat different this year. There will not be any carnival rides, but there will be music, art vendors, activities and — of course — food.

"We want to welcome Watsonville back to in-person events and invite the community tocome on out and celebrate strawberries by enjoying a day of sweet treats, family activities, great entertainment and more," the city wrote.
The Watsonville Strawberry Festival has its roots in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, the city said. It was founded in 1994 to aid the city's economic recovery efforts.
