3 DUI Arrests Made at Thursday Checkpoint

The three people are booked by the West Hollywood Sheriff's Traffic office.

Of the 463 vehicles that passed through the 's sobriety checkpoint Thursday, 10 drivers were cited for driving without a license and three people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.  

"These three were transported to West Hollywood Station and given the appropriate screening tests," reported Lt. Lawrence Del Mese. "All three were booked for DUI and subsequently released on a promise to appear citation."

In an effort to raise awareness in the community, the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station Traffic office conducted a DUI checkpoint between 9:30 p.m. and 2:15 a.m. During those hours, 35 drivers received secondary screenings.
