Primary Nominating Election Final Tally Set for Thursday

City Clerk June Lagmay announced today that the Official Canvass    of the March 8, 2011 City of Los Angeles Primary Nominating Election, which began on March 9, 2011, is nearing completion. The final tally of all outstanding ballots is scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 24 at 9:00 a.m.

All Official Canvass activities are taking place in Space 375 of Piper Technical Center, located at 555 Ramirez Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

The Office of the City Clerk – Election Division administers elections for the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles Community College District. The City’s 2011 Primary Election was held March 8, 2011. The General Election will be held on May 17, 2011.
