
The following is an announcement from Mayor Pro Tempore Jeffrey Prang:
On Monday, Oct. 17, the city's construction contractor CJ Concrete Construction Inc. will commence construction of the concrete repair program at various locations citywide. The construction involves removal and replacement of damaged and broken concrete curb, gutter, driveways, sidewalk, curb ramp, and other repairs.

For approximately two weeks (weather permitting), the contractor will work on West Knoll Dr, Westmount Dr, Westbourne Dr, and Huntley Dr. (all are residential streets south of Melrose Ave.) Notices about the upcoming work were hand delivered to all affected residents and businesses.

DPW will provide updates on additional upcoming work locations as the contractor makes progress.

All work will be done during the daytime. The contractor's working hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. While the contractor is working, there will be temporary "No Parking" signs posted in vicinity of working area. At least 72 hours in advance, the property owners and residents will be notified of the time and date of the work.
