Christina Aguilera Gets 'Dirrty' at The Abbey [Video]

The lounge and restaurant on Robertson unveils a new menu and dance floor, with a special guest Wednesday evening.

International pop star Christina Aguilera placed her hands and feet in cement Wednesday night at , becoming immortalized at the West Hollywood hangout (second to ) as a "Gay Walk of Fame" honoree.

"I share a special bond with my gay and lesbian fans. We've supported each other for years," Aguilera said. "It is such an honor to be the first honoree on The Abbey's Gay Walk of Fame. This is one of my favorite places and a special destination for gays and lesbians from around the world."

The event also premiered The Abbey's new look. "Everyone needs a facelift at 21," Founder David Cooley told Patch.

The restaurant and bar unveiled VIP booths surrounding a sunken dance floor, DJ platform, state-of-the-art audio and video systems, and a  of tapas-style comfort food.

"We've been in construction since Halloween, and it's been a long undertaking, but we're here and we're excited," said bartender Michael King, who was shaking up Xtina-themed cocktails. "It's going to be a great year."
