Dine Al Fresco At New 'Abbey Road' Alley In WeHo

The outdoor space adds street-café finesse to The Abbey Food & Bar, West Hollywood's iconic gay bar & eatery.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood, a two-time winner of the Logo/MTV Best Gay Bar In The World Award, has expanded its dining options, moving outside with alleyway seating at its new"Abbey Road."

The outdoor space, adjacent to the North Robertson Boulevard restaurant, is decked with planters and hanging gardens for a Euro-cool, bistro vibe, plus borrows the "street stripes" of the original Abbey Road, London.

“Outdoor dining has been part of The Abbey since I first opened in 1991 but now, it’s the only option for restaurants,” said David Cooley, founder and owner of The Abbey, The Chapel and Within. “The City of West Hollywood, West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Alcohol Beverage Control have been such great partners, coming up with ways to help small businesses survive and adapt by using the sidewalks and alleyways to keep our businesses open."
