Don’t shoot until you see the whites of their eyes.

I mean the enemy, don’t shoot the enemy until you see the whites of their eyes.

So, why the whites of their eyes? Was it because they needed to be that close?

Look, take a really close look.

A mirror reflecting right back to you, look harder, look deeper, look for the whites of your eyes.

In essence, they may be brown, they may be blue, and yet look for the white in your enemies’ eyes.

A common denominator, a part of me, a part of you.

Remove all the statues, we will still stand side by side.

It was never about the colors, the race, the differences, but about the belief.

It is about what cannot be seen.

Don’t shoot, it’s only the whites of our eyes.

No more crying, no more hate.

We are better than our own enemies.
