Fire Breaks Out In West Hollywood Home

Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A fire broke out Monday in the attic of a single-family house in West Hollywood, but crews quickly knocked down the flames and no one was injured.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze, which was reported just after 2 p.m. at a one-story home in the 9000 block of Lloyd Place.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department had the flames extinguished by 2:24 p.m. and a search of the premises turned up no victims.
