Former Playmate Sentenced to 9 Years in West Hollywood Shooting
Victoria Rathgeb admits to using a gun to cause great bodily injury to her husband.
A former Playboy playmate of the year has been sentenced to nine years in state prison after pleading no contest to attempted voluntary manslaughter in the 2010 shooting of her husband in West Hollywood, the LA Times reported Wednesday.
Victoria Rathgeb, 66, admitted in L.A. County Superior Court to using a gun to cause great bodily injury to her husband Bruce during an argument in October 2010. The incident took place in the apartment they shared on Hawthorn Avenue.
TMZ reported Rathgeb's husband underwent surgery to remove a bullet fragment from his body and has since recovered. He was present at the sentencing, but did not speak.

Superior Court Judge Barbara Johnson ordered Rathgeb to pay $70,000 to the state victim restitution fund. The 1968 Playmate will start her prison sentence immediately.
