Main Event: Pantle Palooza Birthday Bash

doors open at 7 p.m., with Black Tide at 7:30 p.m., TAT at 8:20 p.m., The Soulutionaries at 9:30 p.m., Chris Murray Combo at 10:30 p.m., and a certain legendary ska band performing at 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.

Other Happenings:

•  will be discussing and signing their book, The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What's Wrong with America, 7 p.m. at . 
• , a new play by Paul Shoulberg, comes to The Meta Theatre (7801 Melrose Ave.) at 8 p.m. The story is centered around two young women who make a pact to kick their addiction to crystal meth and pursue family and creative lives. 
• Jeffrey Sanker and Steve Machuca present Fresh Fridays at . Come before 10 p.m. for free or pay $5 after. Dancing starts at 11 p.m. 

The Forecast:

• West Hollywood will be mostly sunny, with a high near 90, reports the National Weather Service. By the evening, temperatures will drop to around 63, with calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 miles per hour.
