Historic WeHo Walking Tour Scheduled for Saturday
Tour-goers will see F. Scott Fitzgerald's flat, Ayn Rand's modest apartment and Jim Morrison's final U.S. address.
Have you ever wondered where the stars of yesteryear called home in West Hollywood? Those yearning for lesson on WeHo's star-studded past can just that this weekend, when Roy Rogers Oldenkamp of the West Hollywood Preservation Alliance will hold a historic walking tour.
Oldenkamp will guide a tour through the landmark buildings of WeHo's 1920's and 30's golden era, including stops by F. Scott Fitzgerald's flat, Ayn Rand's modest apartment and other star homes. Tour-goers will also stop by the final U.S. address of Jim Morrison of the Doors.
The tour will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. in front of Tara at Laurel Park, 1342 N. Laurel Ave. A $10 donation to the West Hollywood Preservation Alliance is suggested, but nobody will be turned away.
