Macha Theatre to Get 'SIDETRACKED'

Sharon Michaels' timeless 'whodunit' runs at the West Hollywood theatre through Feb. 19.

Murder, intrigue, and the Golden Age of Hollywood. It's all mixed up in SIDETRACKED, a Sharon Michaels dramedy getting its world premiere Friday at the .

The play directed by Ray A. Rochelle opens with five passengers waiting to board the train at L.A.'s Union Station. Each of them has a motive for the murder that has just been discovered.

Think film noir, black and white mystery. Michaels, a ballet dancer turned author, gives a nod to Bogart and Bergman, Fred and Ginger too.

"L.A. is a tough town to live in. Maybe that's why some people call it Tinsel Town," declares actor Chris Wolfe in the SIDETRACKED YouTube promo. "Just about any dream can come true with a bottle of Scotch."

The play is made up of a small cast of seven: Bix Barnaba, Michele Bernath, Carlos Ciurlizza, Sondra Currie, James Gleason, David P. Johnson and Jamison Lingle.
