HOLLYWOOD, CA — Netflix employees are being asked to work from home if possible, and workers at the company's Sunset Boulevard offices were sent home after an exposure to a confirmed case of coronavirus, according to a published report.
Some Netflix staffers had already started working from home, but the company told the rest of the workers in its building at 5808 Sunset Blvd. to go home on Thursday, according to Deadline, which says about 1,000 employees were affected.
The employee's wife has the virus, according to the report.

Laura Murray, communications director of Hudson Pacific Properties Inc. which owns the building at 5808 Sunset Blvd., declined late Friday to comment on any specific property.
"The health and well-being of Hudson Pacific's employees and tenants is our highest priority," Murray said. "While several of our tenants have asked their employees to work remotely, all properties across the Hudson Pacific portfolio remain open and we continue to staff these buildings as necessary to ensure they operate smoothly for tenants who remain in their offices."
