Obama Coming to West Hollywood This Month
The president will attend two fundraisers around town on Sept. 26 — one at the House of Blues and another at Fig & Olive.
President Obama will be in West Hollywood on Sept. 26 for two invitation-only reelection fundraisers geared toward entertainment industry supporters, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first event, set for 4:30 p.m. at the on Sunset, costs $250 to get in the door, with $10,000 for a photo with the president, reports the trade publication. Later, Obama is expected at Melrose Place's newest eatery, , for a Q&A. The price tag per ticket on that is a whopping $17,900.
The entertainment industry contributed about $40 million to the Democrats in 2008, reports the THR. Those same Hollywood donors pitched in $2.53 million during the first half of 2011 for the Obama campaign, according to a recent analysis Hollywood Reporter cited by the Center for Responsive Politics.

Obama's in April included visits to Tavern in Brentwood and Sony Pictures in Culver City. There has been no word on where the president will be spending the night, but based on his previous stay, expect severe traffic conditions along major avenues of travel.
