Police Seek ATM Robber in Hollywood
An individual committed a robbery at a Bank of America automated teller machine on Melrose Avenue.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division asked the public on Monday for information that could lead to the arrest of a suspect who committed a robbery at an automated teller machine.
A suspect approached a victim at an ATM at a Bank of America branch in the 4900 block of Melrose Avenue, near Western Avenue, around 9:10 p.m. on Oct. 15 and with his hand simulating a handgun told the customer to give him his money or he would be shot. He then took the money and fled.
The suspect was described as a man about 35 years old with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a purple Los Angeles Lakers cap and a purple Minnesota Vikings jersey.
