Rape Suspect's Photo Released In Search Of Potential Victims
In both incidents, the victims were intoxicated and picked up from the same night club in West Hollywood.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Detectives have released a photo of a suspect charged in two sexual assault cases in West Hollywood in the hope of identifying other victims, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Wednesday.
The first reported incident occurred outside a nightclub in October 2018. The victim left the night club alone and intoxicated, when the suspect approached the woman and offered her a ride home at a fare lower than rideshare services, police said.
The woman agreed, and lost consciousness on the way home due to her level of intoxication. When she regained consciousness, she was in the back seat of the vehicle being sexually assaulted by the suspect, according to LAPD.

The second incident involved a different victim attending the same night club in September 2019. The woman attended the club with friends, and eventually left the club alone and intoxicated, police said. She had lapses of awareness, and recalled being in the suspect's car after leaving the club. The victim lost consciousness in the suspect's vehicle, and awoke to the sexual assault, according to police.
"During the investigations, both victims identified Dayvid Sherman. In both incidents, Sherman was providing transportation services in a large Black SUV," LAPD said.
