Rescues of the Week: 'Bucket Boy,' Quiet Carrow and Playful Ritz

These three would make great additions to any family.

Slade is a handsome young male Rhodesian Ridgeback/yellow Labrador retriever mix. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in the desert along with 70 other dogs, but is still a social and friendly pup. When volunteers found him, he was proudly prancing around with his feed bucket, earning him the nickname: "Bucket Boy."

Carrow is a 5-year-old Domestic Short Hair. Her owner recently passed away. Carrow prefers to nap in warm laps or curled up in sunny windowsills. A quiet home with older children or adults only would suit her best as loud noises and quick movements make her nervous.

Ritz is a 2-year-old Chow mix. He is a friendly dog who loves everyone. Ritz is sweet, good with kids, and walks well on a leash. He would be happiest in a home with no cats, because he may be a little too playful for them.
