Saturday's Scoop: MAK Day, Martin Perlich and High on Fire

The art and architecture center is having a free exhibit, LA radio personality Martin Perlich is discussing his latest book, and metal band High on Fire is performing at the Viper Room.

Main Events:

  • Author and Los Angeles radio personality Martin Perlich is discussing and signing The Self-Pity Chronicles, a "humorous tale of depression, suicide, and public radio" as puts it, at 4 p.m. Event is free. Book costs $25.
  • The MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the
    on Kings Road is having MAK Day from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The free event features an exhibition walk-through, Trailer Talk with Sabrina Artel, and a book launch for the newly published Architecture: A Woman's Profession edited by Tanja Kullack.
