Saturday's Scoop: International Human Rights Day, Code C Toy Drive and 'Così fan tutte'

Attend a photo exhibit with Hans Zimmer at the library, help benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles, or catch a semi-staged abridged version of one of Mozart's most popular comedies.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Saturday in West Hollywood:

Main Events:

  • is hosting the launch of the photo exhibit, Deserve Dignity, which captures the lives of the Roma people in the settlements of Eastern Slovakia, on International Human Rights Day from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event incldues cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by remarks from photographer Hans Zimmer and members of the West Hollywood City Council.
  • on the Sunset Strip is hosting a toy drive benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Bring an unwrapped toy and receive a 20 percent discount on the store's new collections. There will also be a trunk show from Louis Verdad, Gia Jewelry and Habitual, along with holiday drinks and snacks from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Los Angeles Opera is presenting a semi-staged abridged version of Mozart’s Così fan tutte at 7 p.m. in .The music is performed in Italian with English narration, and running time is approximately 50 minutes. Admission is free.
